We reserved one of the Flamingo rooms because they were supposedly remodeled a few years back. At this point our trip was half over and there was no longer any point in switching rooms but. It was late so I went down the following day. We were then scolded by the front desk for not following their 'proper procedure' and advised that it is not policy to call guests, that we must go down to the desk. The next day came and went but no one called so when we got back from our tour that day, we called again. We were told a manager would call us on my cell phone (even took down the number) the next day. Upon our return later that evening, we called down to the front desk to explain what happened and that no one ever came. We were told someone was on their way but after 45 minute of waiting we had to leave for a previously scheduled event. We asked to be moved again but they refused unless housekeeping could verify the damage.
They put us a few floors up but that room was also water damaged, had mold in the bathroom, and trash on the floor from the previous guests. We asked to be moved to a different room. There was severe water damage to the wood furniture. However, when we entered our room, it looked like it had been flooded.
